Sapporo Desk Hutch

This home office collection is made in Thailand from 100% rubberwood. The name of Sapporo is said to be derived from Ainu language "Sari-Poro-Pet" (River lined with large reed bed). Rubberwood trees are only felled once they have stopped producing latex and instead of leaving them to rot, the trees are used for timber. Each time a rubber wood tree is felled, a new one is planted in its place, making this collection very environmentally friendly
