Commercial/Visual Manager

Work Pattern:39 hrs pw, 5 days out of 7, including weekends

Job Purpose

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Commercial/Visual Manager who will be able to capture the imagination of our customers in our Basingstoke store and enhance their experience of shopping with us. This is not your average ‘visual’ role – it’s much more commercial than that!

The Role

In this role your creative, dynamic vision will guide your approach to store layout, graphics, display and merchandising, while your commercial sense will help you to support the management team improve standards and drive sales. You’ll be responsible for floor layout, management of promotional set-ups, as well as the management of deliveries and stock levels within the store. As a key member of the management team, you will also deputise in the Manager’s absence. You’ll happily share your talent with the team to develop their merchandising skills and help them reach your standards.

Person Specification

You’ll need a minimum of 5 GCSEs with good grades in English and Maths or equivalent, and at least a year’s experience in a customer-facing environment within a similar role. You’ll possess excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills, be results orientated and have a great eye for detail. Computer literacy is always an advantage. Most importantly of all, you’ll be brimming with enthusiasm to join our team.
