Team Leader

Location:The Pier at Homebase, Centrum Park, Cheltenham

Job Type:Permanent

Work Pattern:39 hrs pw, 5 days out of 7, including weekends

Job Purpose

We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Team Leader who will thrive on giving fantastic customer service in our concession within Homebase, Cheltenham.

The Role

As well as a natural flair for customer service, you’ll need the energy and experience to get the sales team hitting targets. As a key holder, you’ll be responsible for running the concession in the manager’s absence and maintaining merchandising standards in order to maximise sales. You’ll be a positive contributor to the team spirit and help develop the sales team to their full potential.

Person Specification

Naturally, we expect a good educational background with a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, and at least a year’s experience in a customer-facing environment. You’ll possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be results orientated and have the ability to develop good working relationships. You’ll be familiar with the use of computers and flexibility over working hours is essential. Most importantly of all, you’ll be brimming with enthusiasm to join our team.
