Location:The Pier at Homebase, Livingston

Work Pattern:39 hrs pw, 5 days out of 7, including weekends
Job Purpose
We are currently looking for an energetic and dynamic Concession Manager who will thrive on giving fantastic customer service in our concession within Homebase, Livingston and help drive our business forward.
The Role
The Pier’s a unique kind of store, so our store managers tend to think differently too. You’re always up for a challenge, you’re right behind your staff and ready to go that bit further for your customers. You’ll be responsible for increasing the store’s business performance by maximising sales and organising an efficient operation within budget to make your branch of The Pier even more successful. You must also ensure standards of merchandising and customer service are met and exceeded by your team. You’ll be a strong people person, motivating your team to achieve sales targets.
Person Specification
Naturally, we expect a couple of A levels or equivalent and 2 or more years managerial experience in a customer-facing environment, with previous experience of running a similar operation. You’ll possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be results orientated and have the ability to develop people to their full potential. Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office is also essential. Most importantly of all, you’ll be brimming with enthusiasm to join our team.
