Conservatory furniture - it's at the very core of The Pier, with our passion for creating a wide range of wicker furniture, be it traditional or contemporary, that is comfortable and hard-wearing. We believe a conservatory's sole purpose is to give pleasure, so we want to help you create a room to use all year round - for breakfast in the sun, dinner in twilight, with doors open in the summer and glowingly warm in the winter.

Obviously by its very nature, extremes of temperature are the norm in a conservatory, so conservatory furniture is traditionally rattan which loves such demanding conditions. But the ingenious use of eco-friendly materials never ceases to fascinate us, and so we also have conservatory furniture designs made from woven banana bark, plaited straw and crushed bamboo, which survive happily in a conservatory's climactic ups and downs.

Our conservatory furniture is exactly what you'd expect from The Pier - it's versatile, well made and appealingly relaxing. Take your pick from traditional shapes to thoroughly modern lines and don't stop at conservatory seating. Turn your conservatory into a personal retreat by filling in the gaps with rattan storage trunks that double as great coffee tables; woven pedestal tables to display your favourite greenery; generous cushions in a huge range of colours; woven rugs to add warmth and texture. The finishing touch? How about a couple of tall metal giraffe, or a pair of our stunning carved Indian elephants? Half close your eyes and you could just be far away on the other side of the world.

Caring for your conservatory furniture

 • Do not expose to direct sunlight or wicker will become brittle and fade (conservatory blinds are a must).

 • If in a hot/dry environment moisten wicker with a plant mister on a regular basis.

 • In a conservatory rotate pieces regularly so that one piece is not over exposed to direct sunlight.

 • Vacuum furniture regularly.

 • If wicker loses its natural sheen, use furniture wax to restore the sheen. To touch up light scratches, use a wax scratch removing stick.
 •
Important - Have you checked your measurements?
This is stating the obvious, we know, but particularly when ordering larger items (wardrobes etc) it is important that you carefully measure both the ultimate location of the item and ALSO whether it can be manoeuvred through doors and hallways to get to its destination. If you have narrow doorways or a staircase with tight corners, please be sure to check again and get in touch with us if there's a problem.
